How to become less of a stress-head

Stress, it’s something that many of us know in one way or the other. Lately things may have been stressful for some, whilst others found their peace in the quietness that was corona.

However we have all experienced stress in one way or the other.

The main question is, how do you deal with stress? Let me tell you, there is no perfect method to cope with stress, this is not a one size fits all. There are however some habits you can introduce into your life that will help ease those stresses.

7 habits to introduce in your daily routine for a healthy reduced stress lifestyle

How these habits help you conquer stress.

The Magnificent 7 came to me through PowerBurn, because PowerBurn teaches you and educates you on every single one of the principles, this is why it means so much to me. I have come from being a personal trainer with an active job, to living the most sedentary life – the impact the lather had on me was huge, as you know from my blogs, I have come a long way.

This principle has been brought to us by doctor Robert Rakowski and it’s a great guideline to implement into your daily life!

The Magnificent 7 consist of

Drink right
Eat right
Sleep right
Poop right
Think right
Talk right
Move right

The link above will take you to the accompanying blog post explaining the magnificent 7 further 😉 be sure to check them out 😊

What else can I do to release stress?

There is one aspect that is hugely important but not mentioned in the magnificent 7 which is Breathe Right –  have you ever just stood still and observed your breathing? Is it deep or rather shallow?

There is a perfect way to breathe, have a look at PowerCoach @Gemma’s life on Facebook, as she so kindly demonstrates the breathing technique to apply. You will breathe in for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 2 and then breathe out for 4 seconds, have a go at this right now! This will allow your brain and body to oxygenate and help you control your heart rate. This has an almost immediate impact on your body and brain.

There are also some amazing guided meditations, I’ll place some links below, they are brilliant for creating some headspace and completely relax.

Stress is bad, it impacts our life in such a huge way! I really hope to encourage you to apply even the smallest of changes to your lifestyle to help reduce your stress!

So if you, like me, are ready to embrace the full potential your life has to offer you, stay tuned!
