PowerCoach Magali

Hello everyone, I’d like to introduce myself, I am Magali, 27 – PowerCoach, fitness enthusiast (More like PowerBurn enthusiast) I love life, have a passion for things I enjoy and I am very easy going– If I could use 3 words to describe myself they would be – playful, cheery and enthusiastic – I am from Belgium, lived in the UK for 5 years, before embarking on a cruise ship as a personal trainer to then come back to Belgium after my many travels, where I now live.

I have started the PowerBurn Journey about 5 and a half years ago, this is where I met Gemma at her HQ, I was a personal trainer at Lifestyle Fitness in Carlisle, at that point I didn’t know who Gemma was, but shortly after I met her, she quickly became an inspiration, an idol, someone who I looked up to!

Her knowledge, confidence and all round happiness glow, left me in awe – I knew then and there that I wanted to be like her when I grow up! So calm and in control yet absolutely and totally her happy enthusiastic self!
Now the journey with Lifestyle and PowerBurn at that point ended as soon as I left for the Caribbean. It was a very difficult passage of my life where I had to make choices, I decided to be impulsive and do something daring and out of the blue. It wasn’t until the summer of 2020 when I saw the advert on Gemma’s Facebook, that I regained contact with Gemma and started my official PowerBurn journey!
The reason I am sharing this with you now, is because I will be sharing with you all my struggles, my low points, my sadness, but also how I overcame those problems, how I resolved them and how I am now a different person than I was a year ago. The impact of PowerBurn and how it is so much more than a fitness program.

I have been in dark places, I have been down, I have been ‘fat’, ‘worthless’, ‘sad’…Knowing that you’re still reading this, tells me you can empathise with a few, or all of those statements, whether you’re still there, have been there in the past, it doesn’t matter, you’ve seen it all – all the encouraging quotes on social media, and deep down, you absolutely hate them because they aren’t true – how can they be when you feel so down in the dumps and life is so unfair!

Allow me to come into your life and share my experiences, in the following weeks, months, I will fill you in with my own experiences, with my weight, how my weight was actually the last of my worries once I started the plan (which was actually my first motivation for joining PowerBurn) – the problems that have been fixed before I could move on, the things I have achieved so far being on PowerBurn, as a client, not a coach – Let me solve your problems you didn’t even knew you had!

My first subject will be the first hurdle I overcame – 6.30 am work-outs, Powerchats and Zoom.
The second subject will be – You’re on Mute – a zoom story – Find your voice! I will talk about how the environment affects your health, nutrition and my experience on it, working-out on PowerBurn – how on earth working out with a frigging stick and water bottles turned my body around to being in the best shape of my life!
